Washi Tape Covered Containers

All of the rage right now are washi tape covered anything. I have to admit I like the look of washi tape and think it can be so fun and creative to use on notebooks, posters, cups, etc. Here is an example of  washi tape on tin cans to make a great looking pen and pencil holder. The washi tape used in this image may be a little to pastel for a cub scout but it comes in many, many, colors and patterns. I have found washi tape anywhere from the dollar store to walmart to craft stores. If you don’t want to use washi tape they have duct tape in many fun patterns and those can be found at the same places I mentioned above. (There is no tutorial for this project…just stick tape on the clean can.)
